What We Achieved Together in 2025

3 min read

Welcome to the First Edition of the Contract Care Newsletter

2025 was a defining year for Contract Care - a year of growth, resilience, and continued commitment to providing quality care within the aged care and disability communities across Australia.

Our achievements throughout the year were driven by our incredible community: our frontline staff, valued partners, and the team working tirelessly behind the scenes. We’d like to thank you all and reflect on all that we achieved together.

Our Year in Numbers

  • Total Shifts in 2025: 25,316

  • Total Hours of Care Provided: 193,905 hours supporting aged care residents and NDIS participants

Expanding Our Reach

In 2025, we expanded into Perth, Melbourne and Canberra, allowing us to work more closely with communities right across Australia and strengthen the local support we provide.

This year, we broadened our scope by including hospitality and additional support services, venturing beyond clinical roles for the first time.

From placing senior chefs in the Northern Territory to maintenance technicians in Sydney, we now support every role to keep aged care homes running smoothly.

We recognise that quality care is delivered by a whole team - and non-clinical staff play a vital role in making that possible.

Responding to Industry Change

Last year also marked a significant shift across the aged care industry, as organisations began moving away from a heavy reliance on agency contractors and towards more permanent cost-effective staffing solutions.

To address long-term vacancies, many of our client partners sought our assistance in finding the right candidates for their facilities.

In response, we were proud to support some of our temporary staff as they transitioned into full-time and part-time roles, providing greater stability where it suited their personal and professional goals.

Supporting Long-Term Staffing Solutions

Recognising the growing demand for permanent placements, we were thrilled to have Harry join our team.

From the outset, Harry made a strong impact, supporting facilities across the country by placing nurses, allied health professionals, and managerial staff into permanent roles. Harry’s hard work has helped us better support facilities with staffing solutions that truly reflect the needs of the sector.

Strengthening Clinical Leadership

One of the year’s proudest moments was seeing Aileen step into her new role as our in-house Care Manager. After working with us as a Registered Nurse, we saw firsthand the depth of Aileen’s clinical expertise and commitment to high-quality care.

Today, Aileen supports our team through hands-on training that empowers our staff to deliver care with confidence. Aileen also guides us through accreditation, strengthens our clinical processes, and ensures our care is safer, more confident, and even more trusted. And of course — we’re big fans of the snacks she brings into the office too!

A Milestone Close to Our Hearts

One of the most uplifting milestones of 2025 for the CC family was our CEO, Chloe, receiving the all-clear for cancer. We couldn’t be more grateful to enter 2026 healthy, energised, and ready for what the year ahead brings.

Looking to the future, we are deeply grateful to the people define Contract Care - our dedicated staff, value partners and the communities we serve daily.

The year ahead brings new opportunities, fresh goals, and continued growth, and we’re excited to move forward together, grounded in care, connection, and a shared commitment to making a meaningful difference.
